from the article:
"George Reggo, who has served the borough since 2002, was fined $1,000 for lowering the assessed value of a property in which he held an interest and served as the broker for its sale. The Reiner Place property had been Reggo’s mother’s before she died in 2011. His real estate firm sold it in 2013.The Department of Community Affairs' Local Finance Board reviewed the case and determined there was a violation, saying Reggo “used or attempted to use his official position to secure unwarranted privileges or advantages” by lowering his appraisal on a property without going through the proper process."
"He has since left Bergenfield, according to Borough Administrator Corey Gallo.
According to state records, Reggo's total compensation for last year was $216,931, including $22,216 paid by Englewood Cliffs. He could not be reached for comment. "

CONGRATULATIONS
and GOOD LUCK to Vincent Quatrone !!!
https://dailyvoice.com/new-jersey/garfield/police-fire/new-bergen-sheriff-begins-filling-administrative-posts/746927/
from the article:
"Although it wasn't expected to be made official until next month, Cureton has added two other undersheriffs, bringing the number to the state-mandated limit of four:
Former Lodi Police Chief Vincent Quatrone;
Former Bergen County Sheriff's Lt. Alan Gailes, an investigator for the county Department of Consumer Affairs."
So Vin collects about $200,000.00 per year from pension and will now get paid over $120,000.00. What pension will he be in this time?

"All of the undersheriffs were being paid salaries of $115,000 as administrators in the Sheriff's Department. They were appointed by Saudino and the "sheriffs use them as they see fit," William Schievella, a spokesman for the Sheriff's office said of the roles of the undersheriffs."
