Doctrine of Necessity invoked, again.

It is so apparent that the "conflict of interest" here in the entire Borough of Lodi is so rampant, it might just be bordering on absurd. Surprising that no one from the State or County sees this as a potential problem, or allows it to continue.

One would also have to question how many official meetings have been held this way, and no one noticed, because agendas and minutes were not properly posted, or not posted at all.

So, in essence, no matter what comes before this Board, it will be voted in anyway, even though a quorum has not been met. No challenges here!

"Memories" in the news today

http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2011/01/passaic_valley_sewerage_commis_3.html

A quote from this article,

"And at the sewerage authority, where Christie removed a majority of commissioners four years ago in a crackdown to remove “malfeasance and inappropriate conduct” "

and of course we all remember:

Luna still does what he damn well pleases, answers to no one, or just doesn't answer, or answers with a lie.

After being under so much scrutiny for possible wrong doing, and told by the Governor to resign, he still holds a Public Job.

also RUNS the Planning Board and Zoning Board

Where is the logic?

Once again to see our tax dollars being applied to a project which will, need to be maintained, require extra insurance, and patrolled to keep it safe. Keep in mind, spending all of this money, at some point after the next storm with flooding the park will be ruined. It is surprising to know the County and State continue to allow funding for these projects, knowing in a sense,  it is a waste.

The Borough of Lodi matches this funding.

I speak of the Voto-Todesco Field at the end of Richmond & Chestnut Street. Recently Lodi received funding from the "Open Spaces" program, and the Borough of Lodi matched those funds.
So this "Premiums Workers Comp" insurance payment is for DPW workers, or the Voto/Tedesco Park?

Even "google" shows it as a Flood Control area.

SO WHY DOES LODI KEEP SPENDING OUR TAXDOLLARS FOR 'SINKING' PROJECTS?
