ANTHONY P SCIARRILLO is a well know attorney who deals quite a bit with NJ Schools....and School Boards.

In the REAL world, any clerk, secretary, keyboarder 2, etc, making an error like this and charging the taxpayers of LODI over $ 5,000.00 should be terminated.

Any attorney who allowed a bill with an error to leave his office or to have his office staff BILL Lodi taxpayers erroneously, should be looked at with a big microscope !!! Maybe other NJ School districts should check their bills for the "bang, bang, boom" errors from the Sciarrillo firm.

Back in the day, our very own Lodi Police Officer Miller was a trained Paterson Police Officer (for about a year) before transferring to Lodi.  Maybe the streets were too mean to him !

Here in Lodi, all of that cheek kissing may have paid off,  I see a Lieutenant, in charge of something, real soon.

But please be reminded that not all Police Officers are like the one in this video.

 So who's education are Lodi Taxpayers paying for this time?

Of course education for someones job is important. (should have been qualified before you got the job).  If it is required for your job as in Re-certification of a required license, ie: EMT, CDL, CPR, etc. Taxpayers should not have a problem with paying for that re-certification.

BUT, to make the taxpayers pay to further your own education, by CEU's, is ridiculous. If it is not required for the job you hold, pay for it yourself. On your own time too!!

Although Lodi & Midland Park can not be compared as to student enrollment or budget size, the Midland Park School Board of Education has at least shown some initiative in using what they have, and saving the taxpayers some money.

I call it common sense.

Back in the summer of 2012. North Woodside Avenue mysteriously changed from a two way traffic street, to a one way only street.

 

MANY RESIDENTS COMPLAINED ABOUT IT,   THE CHANGE NEVER APPEARED IN THE LODI MAYOR & COUNCIL AGENDAS, OR MINUTES, UNTIL NOVEMBER 27,  2012. THE TRAFFIC SIGNS WERE PUT INTO PLACE PRIOR TO THIS MEETING.
