– LITTLE FERRY BOROUGH, Bergen County, population 10,866, seeks a motivated professional with a minimum of five years’ experience in municipal government management. Oversee all daily operations of the Borough, excluding Police, including financial management, capital planning, and labor/human resources. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in public administration or equivalent (master’s degree preferred); proficiency in financial administration; knowledge of contract and labor negotiation, land use and redevelopment practices and implementation, and procurement processes; outstanding writing, presentation and people skills; ability to research and present financial or factual information; ability to work cooperatively with government officials, department heads, employees, volunteers, and the general public; computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, website management (qsend), and financial management software (Edmunds preferred).  "In the past, Luna has also run for county freeholder and state assemblyman positions.

Other members of the Luna family have a history in Lodi local government as well.

"Before me, my uncle was here, Joe Luna. He was a mayor, a five-term mayor where you had to get elected, not appointed," explained Luna.

Joseph P. Luna. this park was dedicated in his honor and dedication of his service and devotion to the borough of Lodi on September 19, 1997. Mayor Luna served as Mayor and Councilmen from 1942-1951.
He was indicted in 1951 for failure to enforce gambling laws. Later the charges were dropped in 1955

Luna’s cousin, Tom DeSomma, also served on the council in the past."

Thomas DeSomma Jr.
Investigators from the U.S. Attorney's Office in Newark have
obtained the housing authority's files relating to two contracts the
agency entered into with Quality Roofing Corp. …

Also according to news reports: DeSomma was implicated in the bribery conviction of a roofing contractor who testified he paid DeSomma $25,000 to rig a bid in the early 1980s, but DeSomma was not charged with receiving bribes.
